America’s 250th anniversary brought parades, music, and fireworks to the mountaintop on Saturday, July 4, as Windham and Tannersville marked Independence Day with community celebrations that stretched from afternoon into night.

Windham
Windham’s annual Independence Day celebration drew spectators to Main Street for an evening parade through the center of town. The festivities culminated after dusk with a fireworks display launched from Windham Mountain Club.
