Do you feel like an alien trying to calculate what normal human behavior is? Ever look at that one seemingly perfect couple in your friend group and think, “How in the hell do they do that?”

If soul mates aren’t real, then how do you know when a relationship feels right? And when it comes to love, is good enough ever truly good enough?
Or maybe you just want to be alone forever?
On the flip side—have you cracked the code? Have you found the secret to a fulfilling relationship?
After a decade of dating, I can confidently say I haven’t figured out the answer to any of these questions. I’m not a relationship expert, but I am a curious, loud-mouthed, Catskills-based busybody who isn’t afraid to ask them. So in honor of Valentine’s Day, I’m setting out to investigate what makes real relationships click.
More than ever, we live in a world where people aren’t forced into relationships for survival. The nuclear family is unraveling, which—let’s be honest—is mostly a good thing. But with so many new possibilities, it’s easy to feel lost in the open-endedness of it all. It’s both freeing and terrifying.
That’s where you come in. I want to hear from you. Whether you’ve built a rock-solid partnership, are stuck in a gray area, or are sitting on a secret you need to spill, let’s talk. Relationships thrive on honesty, so let’s be real about love, sex, commitment, and everything in between.
Got a question? A story? A conundrum? My inbox is open. Anonymity optional. Just tell us where you’re based, your age, and your occupation. Truth encouraged.
Sincerely,
Anonymous
