For the sixth year in a row, the Ulster County Board of Elections is inviting artists ages 9 to 18 to enter its “I Voted” sticker contest.
The winning design will be distributed to voters during the Nov. 3, 2026, general election, including throughout early voting from Oct. 24 to Nov. 1.
Submissions should include an original design for a 2-inch circular sticker featuring the phrase “I Voted.” Any medium is acceptable, and entries should be submitted as a photo, PDF, or JPEG file.
“This contest is a meaningful way to engage young people in the democratic process while celebrating creativity across Ulster County,” Commissioners Torres and Quigley said in a statement. “Each year, we are inspired by the talent and civic pride reflected in these designs.”
Submissions will be accepted from April 15 to June 30. The commissioners, along with local artists and educators from the Ulster County Arts and Cultural Advisory Council, will select the top five designs. Finalists will be featured in a public online vote beginning this summer.
Artwork submissions can be emailed to elections@co.ulster.ny.us. For more information, residents can call 845-334-5470 or visit voteulster.com.
